The ESL Learning Center is a school for learning English. ESL quite literally stands for English as a second language and usually refers to a program geared toward learning English is you are a non English speaker. And that is the goal for every ESL Learning Center. We are committed to teaching you English language. ESL Certificate Programs and Your Future
Our ESL schools are all certified ESL certificate programs. This means that they meet the standards set by the national ESL board and will be able to teach you how to speak, read, write and converse in English. Upon completing an ESL program you will be awarded with an ESL certificate that you can keep with you for the rest of your life. This certificate can be used to show future employers that you have taken the pains necessary to learn English as a second language. Employers will notice the fact that you are a motivated individual and can place you a step above the competition who is equally as qualified as you. We also offer ESL certificate programs for TOEFL and other English certification tests. These tests are necessary to enter some aspects of American life. For instance, if you are a non English speaker from a non English speaking country, you will be required to take and pass the TOEFL certification test in order to be enrolled in an American college. There are also similar tests that are used by employers in the United States. If you want to get ahead in this country, it's simple, you have to learn English.
Our ESL Programs
Intensive English
This program is designed to teach you the basics of the English language. This program includes courses in English speaking, grammar, reading, writing and conversation. There are three levels for this program designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced speakers of the English language. You will be placed in a level after a placement test you take immediately after enrolling for ESL classes. You can also take several different elective classes that focus on American culture and history in order to get a better understanding of the country you live in. The goal of this ESL program is to give you the skill you need to function and succeed in an English society.
Business oriented English
For those that wish to enter into the business world in an English speaking country you will need to be able to be more than proficient in the English language. This ESL program is designed to not only teach you the basics of reading, writing, speaking and listening but will go further into teaching you how business working in the United States. You will take courses in meetings and presentations as well as how to talk to and listen to customers. This is an essential program for anyone thinking about entering the U.S. job market.
TOEFL Prep
If you are interested in entering a college in the United States, you will have to take and pass the TOEFL English proficiency test. This exam is required by most institutions of higher learning in the United States. This ESL program is geared toward allowing you to pass this test. You will take courses in test strategies as well as classes tailored specifically to this test. Being part of our program means that you will also have access to many mock TOEFL exams for you to practice on.
